Studio Assistant
Position Type: Part-time (10 to 15 hours per week), with potential for growth

Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Studio Assistant to join our team at Shelburne Gift Company, a thriving local business that designs and creates custom gift boxes and welcome bags for businesses, weddings and special events.
​
This part-time position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth of a local business and gain valuable experience in the custom gifting industry, with the potential for growth in both hours and responsibilities as the business expands.
We are looking for a dedicated individual who is passionate about contributing to the long-term success of a growing business while working in a fun and flexible environment. This position requires an exceptionally organized individual with strong written and verbal communication skills, along with a deep desire to see your activity contributing directly to the growth of the business.

Some of the day-to-day responsibilities for this role will include:

Client Communication and Interaction (respond to inquiries promptly and professionally, schedule appointments and manage calendars, maintain ongoing communication with clients to gather details and specifications for custom projects).

Project and Timeline Assistance (coordinate approvals, invoicing, and payment processes, ensuring timelines are met).

Inventory Management and Vendor Communication (coordinate inventory orders, track and receive shipments, confirm inventory levels).

Order Fulfillment (assemble, package, and ensure the timely shipping and delivery of custom gift boxes and welcome bags)

Marketing Assistance (capture photos and videos of products and in-studio activities for marketing purposes, assist with website updates, social media accounts, blog posts and email newsletters)

General Business Support (act as a general assistant to the business owner as needed, providing support in various areas to ensure smooth operations).

Qualifications:
​

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office and simple knowledge of project management tools. Knowledge of Canva and/or Adobe tools is a plus!

Basic understanding of marketing principles and social media platforms.

Bonus: Eye for design and basic design skills.
